Our People

David Barbour Chief Investment Officer

David leads the investment strategy at Pallant Capital Ltd, including overseeing the firm’s growth in private markets through investments in direct opportunities, co-investments and funds. He has more than 20 years of investment experience within the Fleming Family Oﬃce and FPE Capital, where he was Managing Partner. A qualified lawyer, David began his career in investmentbanking with Flemings and JP Morgan before moving into family oﬃce investment.

Nicola Groom Chief Financial Officer

Nicola is a qualified accountant and CFO with over 30 years’ experience in financial strategy, investment management and risk management. She has worked across the medical, technology, manufacturing and social enterprise sectors, delivering profitability improvements, cost reductions and financial transformation while building effective relationships with senior leadership teams.

George Payne Legal Counsel

George is a Solicitor and Legal Counsel at Pallant Capital Ltd. He has previous in-house experience at both international consulting and manufacturing companies, such as Sweco and Marshall Aerospace and Defence. He has subsequently developed a specialism in agriculture and rural property law having worked for over 5 years at Birketts LLP.

Anna Kilkelly Group Accountant

Anna, as Group Accountant, manages the day-to-day financial operations and reporting. She brings over 10 years of accounting experience, having worked in accounts for the leisure, transportation and mobility sectors. Earlier in her career, Anna was a secondary school science teacher and founded a business delivering hands-on science lessons in primary schools.
